Arriving
Check-in and access
Times, keys and getting into each suite.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10.30am. If you would like to arrive early, we can usually look after your luggage so you can explore the town.
How do I get into the suite?
Before you arrive, we will send you full arrival instructions, including how to get in, any door entry codes and an emergency contact number.
Is there a lift?
The Clock Tower Suite is on the second floor, and there is a lift. The Attik Suite is on the top floor; if stairs might be difficult for anyone in your group, please ask us before you book.
During your stay
Parking, WiFi and house rules
Is there parking?
Both suites are in High Street House. As with most properties in central Skipton there is no on-site parking, but you have two free spaces at The Corn Mill, about a seven minute walk away. The main town car park, which is paid, is about three minutes from the door. We cannot accept responsibility for vehicles or their contents.
Is there WiFi?
Yes, fast WiFi is included free in both suites.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, in The Clock Tower Suite, which welcomes up to three dogs. Please let us know when you book. We are unable to accept pets in The Attik Suite.
Can I smoke in the suites?
No. Both suites are non-smoking, and the smoke alarms are linked to the fire service.
Do you have a cot and high chair?
The Clock Tower Suite has a travel cot and a high chair. Please let us know when you book if you would like them set up. The Attik Suite has a travel cot.
Booking
Payments and cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
When you book direct, a 25% deposit is taken at the time of booking and the balance is due 7 days before you arrive. Payments are non-refundable, so if you cancel more than 7 days before arrival the deposit is kept, and within 7 days the full amount is payable. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. Bookings made through Airbnb or Booking.com follow that platform’s cancellation terms.

How far is the train station?
Skipton station is an eight to ten minute walk from The Clock Tower Suite, and the bus station is about three minutes away.
